We are looking for a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in Fresno & Clovis, CA ! This facility in particular needs qualified Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses who are eager to work in fast paced environments that present great opportunities for growth. Maxim has had a strong and long lasting relationship with this facility, so we only look to present dedicated candidates who have strong core values.Responsibilities Possible high-risk antepartum care, labor support, C-sections, and newborn care; your role leads to safe deliveries for healthy moms and babies. This medical group has been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care. These high standards for integrated, patient-centered care are met as a team. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support. The L&D units have 16 beds - 22 beds, plus 19 Antepartum High Risk beds.Qualifications
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
AWHONN certification
Must pass drug tests, background screen, and live scans
Assignment & Facility Details
Travel Pay
Note: To qualify as a traveler, healthcare provider must have a permanent tax address that is more than 50 miles from the facility.
Total Travel Package = $3,584 / weekTaxable Wages = $2,310 / weekLodging Allowance = $791 / weekMeals & Incidentals Allowance = $483 / weekBased upon qualifying for the position, qualifying for allowances, and the availability of similar opportunities. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances. Total pay is based on an ESTIMATED number of hours
